This storytime is designed for families with children 0-5 years old. Family storytime is designed to provide parents/caregivers and children time to enjoy books and reading together while incorporating early literacy and school readiness activities. Adults and children will spend quality time together as they enjoy stories, lap songs, fingerplays, singing, and dancing. Each session includes 25-30 minutes of group interaction followed by an opportunity for parents and children to play, talk and read together. Participation is encouraged as we explore language and movement in a group setting.
No registration is required for this program, so please attend as often as you are able.
Age: 0 - 5 years

All of the programs offered by the children’s library staff are designed to create an environment that will reinforce children’s natural love of reading and storytelling. It is our mission to assist parents and caregivers in the important developmental task of building a foundation for lifelong literacy. This is done in programs using an age-appropriate combination of books, music, rhymes, and interactive fingerplays. We welcome you to call or visit our website if you have any questions about our programs or services that we offer.
