This storytime is designed for families with children 3-5 years old. Storytime includes a 25-30 minute group time with outstanding stories, poetry, fingerplays, singing, and dancing. It wraps up with time for you and your child to interact with a story one-on-one. You can then enjoy an additional 10-15 minutes of an age-appropriate art project, physical activity, or dramatic play.
During Children's Programs, masks are required for ages three and older, per JCPL Board of Trustees under advisement of CDC / JCHD.
Registration is required to allow for adequate spacing. Each space accommodates 1 caregiver and 2 children. If you have questions regarding registration, please contact us via phone at 859-885-3523 x227 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. Registration opens 1 week prior to the event.
All of the programs offered by the children’s library staff are designed to create an environment that will reinforce children’s natural love of reading and storytelling. It is our mission to assist parents and caregivers in the important developmental task of building a foundation for lifelong literacy. In our programs, this is done using an age-appropriate combination of books, music, rhymes, and interactive fingerplays. We welcome you to call or visit our website if you have any questions about our programs or services that we offer.
