May marks the peak of the spring bird migration
in Kentucky! Join Transylvania University faculty member Dr. Becky Fox for an easygoing
birdwatching tour of the Lexington Cemetery, a local "hotspot" for
glimpsing both native species and migratory visitors. While we walk, Dr. Fox
will offer some birdwatching tips and tricks and answer your questions about
avian biology and behavior. Comfortable, water-resistant shoes, sunblock, and a bottle of water are strongly recommended.
NOTE: This program will take place at the Lexington Cemetery. When you enter the cemetery, follow the sign to the bus parking. It's the second left after the main entrance. Park along the road in the circle. We will meet at the Henry Clay monument.
