Join us for a performance about the life of William Wells Brown, the first published African American novelist and playwright. Brown was born enslaved in Kentucky but eventually came to write one of the most influential books for the abolitionist movement. Come learn the moving story of "How I Got My Name," presented by Virgil Covington, Jr. and Kentucky Humanities Chautauqua.
