Preschool Storytime

10:30 AM - 11:15 AM

Event Details

Preschool Storytime is designed for families with children 3–5 years old. This program includes a 25–30-minute group time with outstanding stories, poetry, fingerplays, singing, and dancing. It wraps up with time for you and your child to interact with a story one-on-one. Then, enjoy an additional 10–15 minutes of an age-appropriate art project, physical activity, or dramatic play.

All of the programs offered by the children’s library staff are designed to create an environment that will reinforce children’s natural love of reading and storytelling. Our mission is to assist parents and caregivers in the important developmental task of building a foundation for lifelong literacy. In our programs, this is done using an age-appropriate combination of books, music, rhymes, and interactive fingerplays. We welcome you to call or explore our website if you have any questions about the programs or services we offer.

No registration is required.
