Event Details

This storytime is designed for families with children 3-5 years old.  With an early literacy and school readiness focus, group time includes 25-30 minutes of outstanding stories, poetry, fingerplays, singing and dancing.  It wraps up with time for adults and children to interact with a story one-on-one.  Participants can then enjoy an additional 10-15 minutes of an age-appropriate art project, physical activity or dramatic play.

No registration is required for this program, so please attend as often as you are able.

Age: 3 - 5 years

Wednesdays @ 10 & 11:30 AM

All of the programs offered by the children’s library staff are designed to  create an environment that will reinforce children’s natural love of reading and storytelling.  It is our mission to assist parents and caregivers in the important developmental task of building a foundation for lifelong literacy.  This is done in programs using an age appropriate combination of books, music, rhymes and interactive fingerplays.  We welcome you to call or visit our website if you have any questions about our programs or services that we offer.
