Preschool Storytime

11:30 AM - 12:15 PM

Event Details

With an early literacy and school-readiness focus, Preschool Storytime includes 25-30 minutes of outstanding stories, poetry, fingerplays, singing and dancing. At the end, you and your children will have time to interact with a story one-on-one and are invited for an additional 10-15 minutes of an age-appropriate art project, physical activity or dramatic play.

All of the programs offered by the children’s library staff are designed to  create an environment that will reinforce children’s natural love of reading and storytelling. It is our mission to assist parents and caregivers in the important developmental task of building a foundation for lifelong literacy. This is done in programs using an age appropriate combination of books, music, rhymes and interactive fingerplays. We welcome you to call or visit our website if you have any questions about our programs or services that we offer.
